This simple peach cobbler recipe is the perfect dessert for any occasion. With minimal prep and a golden, spiced topping, it’s a crowd-pleaser that works year-round using fresh or frozen peaches.
Ingredients
- 2 cups biscuit mix
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 fresh peaches (or 2 bags frozen peaches, thawed and drained)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- Extra cinnamon and sugar for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Peel and slice fresh peaches (or thaw and drain frozen peaches).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or two 8×8-inch pans with cooking spray.
- Arrange peaches evenly at the bottom of the dish.
- In a bowl, combine biscuit mix, melted butter, cinnamon, sugar, vanilla, milk, and nutmeg. Stir until smooth.
- Pour the batter over the peaches.
- Sprinkle a light layer of cinnamon and sugar over the batter to enhance browning.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
