Quick and Easy Homemade Peach Cobbler

This simple peach cobbler recipe is the perfect dessert for any occasion. With minimal prep and a golden, spiced topping, it’s a crowd-pleaser that works year-round using fresh or frozen peaches.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 fresh peaches (or 2 bags frozen peaches, thawed and drained)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • Extra cinnamon and sugar for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel and slice fresh peaches (or thaw and drain frozen peaches).
  3. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or two 8×8-inch pans with cooking spray.
  4. Arrange peaches evenly at the bottom of the dish.
  5. In a bowl, combine biscuit mix, melted butter, cinnamon, sugar, vanilla, milk, and nutmeg. Stir until smooth.
  6. Pour the batter over the peaches.
  7. Sprinkle a light layer of cinnamon and sugar over the batter to enhance browning.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with ice cream or whipped cream!

Tips

For a crispier crust, broil the cobbler for 1-2 minutes at the end of baking. Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of your peaches.
